Last Sunday, my family and I to the beach for a holiday. We up very early in the morning, because we wanted to get there before the sun got too hot. The weather was and warm, and we all felt very excited.

When we got to the beach, we saw many there. Some were swimming in the sea, some were beach volleyball, and some were lying on the sand and enjoying the sunshine. My younger brother and I ran to the water . We swam for nearly two hours. Later, we built a tall sandcastle with colourful shells.

At noon, we had a picnic. Mum prepared delicious to eat, including sandwiches, fresh fruit and homemade cakes. In the afternoon, we walked along the coastline and heard little birds loudly in the tall trees beside the beach.

Time passed so fast that we had to go home. We felt tired, our hearts were full of joy. This trip was one of the family activities I have ever experienced. I really look forward to visiting the beach again.

Last Saturday, our school invited an experienced tea master to visit us. He gave special and interesting lesson about Chinese tea culture. The (three) part of his lesson was about how to serve tea politely. We enjoyed (we) very much during the class. We watched the master pour tea (slow) and carefully, as if he was showing a kind of beautiful art. He also (tell) us many old and amazing stories about tea from history. Now, tea has become popular in many (country) all over the world.

Last Friday, our class went on a school trip to Shaoxing. We visited the China Huangjiu Museum in the (西方) of Shaoxing. It was very (明亮的) and quiet on that day, so we could see everything clearly and listen to the guide (导游) carefully.

When we went into the workshop, a worker showed us how to stir (搅拌) the rice. "Look! The worker is checking the temperature," the guide (解释). "Please be careful and don't touch [ˈeniθɪŋ]." Later, my friend Li Ming (尝) a small cup of 10-year-old Huangjiu. He said it was soft and (甜的). I was a little nervous because I don't like the smell (气味). The guide smiled and said, "Don't worry. Cooking with Huangjiu is very common. It makes the food nicer." She also told us, " [rɪˈmembə(r)] to warm the Huangjiu before drinking it in winter. And it needs time and (精力) to make good Huangjiu, because the temperature must be just right."

We all spent a great time that day. I want to visit Shaoxing (再一次) next year.

Shaoxing Huangjiu is an important symbol of Chinese wine culture. It has a history of 2,500 years. For people in Shaoxing, making Huangjiu is not a skill — it is a tradition (传统) passed down from parents to children. During the Spring Festival, family of all ages sit around the table and drink warm Huangjiu together. This is an old rule in families. If you want to know more about it, the best way is to experience it yourself. So don't only books, go to the China Huangjiu Museum and see it with your eyes.

Losing friends is as easy as making friends you don't know how to deal with (angry) and conflict (冲突). Conflict is part of (everyone) life. It will show up at school, at work and at home. It is OK (feel) angry, annoyed or sad. These feelings are (nature), but different people deal with them different ways. Some people shout, or even hit the person who has hurt them. Others do their best to keep away from disagreements but seldom deal with conflict (successful).

Dealing with conflict is a step-by-step process. Before you start talking about the problem, calm down, count to 10 and imagine a relaxing place. Then, say what is really bothering (使烦恼) you, but watch how you express (you). Don't complain. Share you feel by using "I…". For example, don't say "You are always (order) me to do this or to do that.", but say "I feel sad because you don't pay attention to what I think.". You want people to hear your opinion, so make sure you practise what you want to say. Listen carefully to the other person and accept that he or she might see the problem in a different way. Be open-minded and willing to say sorry.
