Once upon a time, a cat and a mouse were good friends. They lived a  life in the same house. They always played together happily and shared everything. And they never argue (争吵) for anything.

But later, they became enemies (敌人) because of a cheese.

One day they went to the  and bought a big piece of cheese. They put it under a tree winter.

A few days later, the mouse wanted to eat the cheese, he had no reason（借口） to have it at that time.could he do that? He thought and thought ... An idea came into his mind.

He told the cat, "I have to go to a baby's birthday party." Then he left. The mouse ate  of the cheese and returned home. When the cat asked  what the baby's name was, the mouse said "Half­gone". 

After a few days, the mouse wanted some cheese (58)  . He told the cat he had to go to baby's birthday party. He finished the other and told the cat the baby was called "All­gone". 

When winter came, the cat went to the tree to get the cheese. But he found nothing. From  on, mice and cats were not friends any more.
