One day, a stork (鹳) saw a beautiful ring. It belonged to a rabbit. The rabbit went inside his hole, leaving the ring outside. The stork decided to try it on w asking. However, when she tried to take the ring off, she f. Since nobody saw her, the stork flew away, thinking she would find a way to return the ring.
The rabbit was very angry to find that the ring had been stolen. Soon, everyone in the forest started looking for the thief. The stork was so afraid that she hid the ring with bandage ( 绷 带 ) on her claws and pretended that she had an accident. The rabbit
wabout the stork and suggested taking her to the hospital. The stork knew that if they did an X-ray, they would find the ring. So she went back home and took off the bandages and covered her claws in lead plates (铅板) so that the ring wouldn't show up on the X-ray.
Feeling r , the stork flew off to meet up with the rabbit. But because of the added w, she was unable to fly. She fell like a heavy stone — and landed on the poor rabbit. Soon, the other animals found the bandages, the lead and the ring. In one single morning, the stork lost all her friends.
