We buy vegetables in the supermarket, But students at Dalton Middle School in the US may no longer supermarket.
Seventh-grade science teacher Sarah Ott has a vegetable , Her spring students planted seeds(种子)in the garden, Now her fall are happy to enjoy the vegetables.
The students water the plants, watch the vegetables and pick them. The school garden is a good place for them to know to grow plants.
Habibah Bikhit, a student in the seventh grade, said she loved in the school garden. "It's because I can see vegetables and flowers and pick them too," she said. Another class in that school also joined .
Ott said it is a good way her students to learn English words, because they can connect (联 系)the words with real things. "You will be if you know how much the kids learn from it," Ott said.
