It is time for the dance party at school. All the children are practicing(练习)hard, but not Maria. She is worried that she will forget her dance steps(忘记舞步).
"I can help you practice at home. "Mom says. But Maria is still afraid she can't do well at the party.
One day, Mom gets home with a big box, Grandma gives you a gift(礼物), "she says. Maria opens the box. Wow! What nice dance shoes! Maria likes them very much, she puts them on and begins to practice at home and school. She even dances in her dreams.
It's Friday and the big party day. Maria does a good job and to her surprise(令她惊讶的是), her grandma comes to watch her dance.
"Great, Maria! You're a very good dancer!" Grandma says.
