This summer I volunteered in an orphanage （孤儿院） I 1 some babies and younger children.
I liked helping in the baby rooms. Those babies were so lovely. At first I felt very 2 to see those babies because they didn't have a home. 3 after I saw that they were very happy, I felt belter.

One day, a monkey and a fox （狐狸） saw an apple tree on the other side of the river. There were many big and red apples on it. But there was no bridge over the river. So they cut down a tree and put it over the river as a bridge.
The monkey said, "My old friend, you go there frst." But after the fox got to the other side, he kicked （踢开） the tree into the river. "How can I get there without the tree?" cried the monkey. The fox laughed and said，"You just stand there and watch me eat the apples." The monkey was very angry.
Suddenly it began to rain. The water rose （上升） quickly and the tree went away with the water.
"You can eat all the apples, but you can't come back," shouted the monkey.
The fox stopped eating and looked at the monkey sadly.
Recently, our school organized an interesting activity. It was called "Take the Long March Again（重走长征路）". It was about ten kilometers long. We had to climb up mountains and walk through the forest. It was just like the Red Army.
When we were walking through the forest, I cut my hand. My finger stated to bleed （流血） and I was afraid. Our teacher said，"the Red Army faced much greater difficulties in the past, but they still got them over. You should learn from them." During this activity, my friend Dave dropped one of his shoes from a rope bridge. He wasn't scared, and got his shoes back later.
After an hour and a half of walking, we finally went back to school. Most of my classmates said it was very tiring. However, I think the experience is useful. I learned a lot about how difficult the Long March was. I also should try harder.
The weekend is short. It is only two days. In order to （为了） make your weekend look longer, you need to plan it better.
Get up at your usual time.
It's wrong to think that the weekend is a good chance for getting up late.
Nobody wants to do homework, but we have to do it. The earlier you do it at the weekend, the better you will feel. After doing your homework, you can plan your weekends well.
Think about what you like to do then get out and enjoy them. Plan a sports activity, for example, going for a walk in the park.
