Good morning, everyone. Welcome to join our Shanghai day trip in mini group. I am your guide David. Here is the for today. First, I will pick you up in the hotel and drive you to Yu Garden at 10:00 a.m. Before you enter it, remember to show your at the entrance. Yu Garden is a famous garden built during the Ming and Qing dynasties（1368—1911 AD）（明清时期）.It is a nice place to relax. You will have about one hour to there.
Next, you will take a free walk along the old street outside the garden. Walking along the street, you will feel you are back to the busy market of old Shanghai more than 100 years ago. It was an important business street and now it is still a great place for sightseeing, shopping and fun. I you will enjoy yourself there. There are also many local snacks and nice restaurants. Please have lunch by yourself and try the local food.

The ant and the dove
One day, an ant went to the stream(小溪) to get a drink, but he fell into the water.
"Help! I can't swim!" A friendly dove heard him.
"It's okay! I'll help you!" she said.
She picked up a leaf and dropped it into the water near the ant. He got on it. Then he floated back to land. Now he was safe!
"Thanks! I almost drowned!" he said.
"We should help each other when we can!" she said.
"I'll never forget this." he promised.
Later, a hunter came into the forest. He wanted to catch and eat the dove for dinner.
"The dove saved my life. Now I must help her!" the ant thought. So he bit(咬) the hunter's foot.
"Ouch!" the hunter cried loudly. Just in time, the dove heard the noise and flew away.
"That was kind of you," she called to the ant. "Thanks!"
"One good turn deserves another!" the ant called back.
There is a zoo 1 our home. My parents often take me there at weekends. I like animals. In the zoo, I can see monkeys, elephants, bears, pandas, tigers, lions and so on. Some animals are friendly, 2 some are not. Tigers, bears and lions are dangerous, so they have to stay in cages. But I do not think it is 3 for animals to stay in cages. They are not happy. They should be free. I think the most interesting animals in the zoo are dolphins. I like watching them 4 and jumping. They swim very fast and they jump very high. They can play with balls.
