Jack Hunt-Broersma is a 47-year-old woman from South Africa. She finished 102 marathons (马拉松) in 102 days last year. She 1 a new world record (纪录) for women.
When she was young, she didn't like 2 . Jacky lost her left leg because of cancer (癌症) in 2002 when she was only 26 years old. She had to use an artificial limb (假肢). She learned 3 to walk again in the next years. To bring her back to 4 , she started to run after that.
"I wanted to run marathons, and it might help 5 more. When I told my doctor about it, he didn't think it was a 6 idea," she says. " But I thought it could help me a lot. So I did that 7 . " In 2016, she finished her first marathon.
"Running really changes (改变) my 8 ," she says. "I feel like a healthy person when running. I love the sport. It lets me know how strong I am. I hope more people 9 artificial limbs can love running. They don't have to run a marathon, 10 I just want to see them make their bodies active (活跃的) and feel free. In fact, you can do what you want. "

In the past, many people farmed in the countryside. But now farming is getting popular in big cities. Many young people like growing vegetables on balconies (阳台) of their houses. People call them "urban (城市的) farmers".
Zhang Chao, an 18-year-old student, from Anhui, is one of the "urban farmers". He says when he was young, he lived with his grandpa in the countryside. "M grandpa spent all his life farming. When he was old, he liked growing vegetables," he says. "He taught me how to grow vegetables. " It's not easy to grow vegetables on balconies. To help his vegetables grow well, Zhang Chao spends his free time looking after them.
"Growing vegetables on balconies can bring me delicious and healthy food and help me eat well," says Zhang Chao. "It also reminds (使想起) happy times with my grandpa. "
After finish his homework on weekends, Zhang Chao likes walking around to enjoy his vegetables. "Seeing vegetables in different colors and enjoying the clean air is a good way to relax," says Zhang Chao. Growing vegetables is a way to kill time. It also brings joy (快乐) to young people's lives.
Eight-year-old Danyal is a Syrian (叙利亚的) boy. But he was born and growing up in Ningbo, China. Now he is studying in Boping Primary School. He goes to school with other Chinese students. He speaks Chinese well. His parents teach him Arabic (阿拉伯语) and English at home.
In 2012, Hasan Nael, Danyal's father, came to China for the first time. From 2013 to 2015, he visited China many times. Danyal's mother Alshaer Yara and Nael came to Ningbo to study Chinese in 2015. They loved the welcoming place and friendly people there. So they decided (决定) to stay in the city. In 2017, they opened a company (公司) in Ningbo and it was named after Danyal.
As Danyal is a kid coming from another country, his teachers care about him and give him much love. "Danyal is a lucky boy. If he were in Syria, he would be an ordinary kid," Nael says. "But here in China he is not ordinary—many people like him and say he is lovely and cute. They like to take pictures of him, and it makes him very happy. "
Danyal loves Chinese food and his school life. "I love P. E. classes because I can jump rope," Danyal says. "I like math classes because I learn about things I'm interested in. Miss Yu teaches us new words. By learning new Chinese words, I can be a writer. "

Arsh Pal, a young artist from the US, is helping people in need through his paintings. When Arsh was eight years old, his parents (买) him a watercolor set (水彩画板) for his birthday. (以后),he spent all his free time painting. He drew a lot of paintings and started giving them to his family and friends as (礼物).
When visiting the care center, Arsh (发现) people looking bored and lonely, so he wanted to give them painting lessons. He (也) started selling his paintings to raise (钱) to help them. He sold his paintings at (旅馆),shows, restaurants, and libraries. Then he gave his first $1,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 2018.
Last year, Arsh got the Diana Award. It is given to great (年轻的) people aged 9 to 25 around the world to work (努力) to improve the lives of others.
"We can change the world,"Arsh said. "It feels good to get the (特别的) prize (奖). " As for what's next, Arsh hopes to continue (继续) painting and helping others.
In UK, everyone knows James Oliver. He has his special TV show. In the show, he tells people how to make nice food (different).
James wants people to eat healthy food. In some schools, the food at lunch time isn't healthy. One day, James went to a school to make a TV show about healthy eating (habit). He cooked the food lots of fruit and vegetables. At first, students didn't want to eat them they don't like fruit or vegetables. But after they (taste) the food, they loved it. After that, food in the school was healthy.
James says that many people don't think they need to love their bodies when they're young.
He doesn't think it is right to do that. He (ask) us to follow these suggestions.
