After that they eat some other things, like bananas, apples or oranges. But not all English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day. Their meals are breakfast, dinner, tea and supper and all these meals are very simple.
Once upon a time, a man from a country called Zheng wanted to buy a pair of shoes. But he didn't know what size he wore. So he measured his feet with a stick as a size and then he went to a market in town.
In the market, the shoe keeper took out a pair of new shoes and asked the man to try them on. However, the man found he left the stick at home. So he said, "I'm sorry, I forgot to bring the size here! I'll go home to get it back. Check with your local school or hospital. Many times they need some help. You don't have to be a doctor or teacher to help out. These places need help in many areas that don't need special training.
Do you like children? Many places need people to help take care of children.
This world has many dirty places. Help clean them up. See how you can join others to make this world a cleaner place. Be creative!
Is there something you do well? Help out by teaching it to someone. You can help someone, and when you teach, you learn more, too.
You can help many places. Give it a try. Get your friends to work with you, too. If we work together, we can make this world a better place.
To know more about children's free time activities, Sunshine School did a survey in January. The bar chart shows the percent of boys and girls in middle school, who like four kinds of free time activities.
They have climbed into a volcano(火山), swam with piranhas(水虎鱼), camped in 一52℃ weather and travelled around the world by boat in the early years. They are Zhang Xinyu and Liang Hong, a couple from Beijing. Now they are among the most famous people online because of their reality show(真人秀)On the Road.
Zhang and Liang are just common people. They never thought they would set foot in more than 100 countries. Zhang is a businessman. His success in business has brought him great wealth(财富). But the earthquake(地震)that hit Sichuan in 2008 made him think about life seriously. "The most important thing in life is to experience all kinds of things and see the way all kinds of people live, " Zhang said. So he decided to go out and see the world with his friend Liang Hong. After about 5 years' preparation, including planning the routes(路线), buying equipment(设备)and learning all kinds of skills, they finally set out.

Friends are important for everyone. Butis not easy to find friends. For most students, true friends are harder to find. If you have some good friends, you should do your best (keep)your friendship.
People like friends with similar interests. You can spend happy and(relax)time together. However, you don't have to be same as your friends all the time. You may have different (idea)and habits. Then trying to understand and respect(尊重)other seems to be more important.
The way you talk your friends is important. You can ask questions to help them start and keep talking. But don't ask personal questions, suchtheir parents' jobs. These questions will make them feel unhappy. In that way, you may lose some friends and you may also get(few)friends than others.
Another important thing is listening. Listen(10) (careful)when your friend is talking. It doesn't have to be with words. Body language also works. Talk about your ideas after your friend finishes his talking.
In short, friends help make our life wonderful. We should keep friendship as long as possible.
