Holidays can make us relaxed so everybody loves holidays. We can get enough time to 1  , play our favorite sports and enjoy our hobbies. I Now let me share 2  last holiday with you. 

On the evening of April lst, my husband called me from his office. He 3  me that he planned to go to Hawaii with me for a week in May. I couldn't believe my 4 , because that was what I really longed for. 

On May 10, we 5  home and went to the Big Island of Hawaii. We stayed in a 5-star 6  in front of the beach. We hired（租）a helicopter（直升机）for a 7  to see volcanoes（火山）. We stayed in the Big Island for 8  days, and then we went to the island of Maui for three days. We watched the sunrise. One of the 9  things was to drive on the Hana Highway. It was really great!

My holiday was 10 . I want to go there again. 

We need to talk a lot with our friends and family to build good relationships（关系）in our life. How can we make our talking skills（技巧）better? Here are four ways that may help you have better conversations with people. 

●Never speak when the person is speaking. If you do this, it's just like saying, "I don't care what you're saying. What I have to say is more important. "

● Don't finish people's sentences. Studies show that doing this will make people lose interest in talking with you because you're taking control（控制） of the conversation. 

● Repeat（重复）what the person said. To show you have really understood someone, say what they have just said before you tell them your idea. 

●____▲____. By looking at the person in the eye, you are showing that you are interested in what they're saying. This also helps you listen more carefully. 

One morning, I was on the subway, going to work. A voice came over the speaker（扬声器）. It said, "This stop is Shady Grove Park. "I heard a little girl's voice and looked down. The little girl said it again: "This stop is ….. Carefully and slowly, and with a little roll（卷）of her hand, she said it again and again. It was like she was teaching a puppy (a baby dog). 

Then I understood. She wasn't teaching a puppy. She was teaching her mother!

I listened and heard the mother talk to someone in basic（简单的）English. She said that she was South Korean（韩国人）and learning English from her daughter or with her daughter. The mother certainly could talk in English, but she still had a long way to go. Being Korean, she said that she had problems with "th" and "r" sounds. When she finally got them right, the little girl smiled and gave her mom a high five. 

At the next stop, her mom said the name of the stop with perfect pronunciation（完美的发音）. "This stop is the Railroad Station. "

It was the cutest start to my day. All day, I thought of that girl's smile and felt happier. She spoke three languages and her English was already better than my own kid's! Most different, however, was the mother was happy to be taught by her daughter. 

Rabbit loved his white fur（皮毛）. He also loved to brag about（吹嘘）it. One day, as he was out in the forest, Rabbit came across Bear. Bear was quite dirty. There was blackberry juice（蓝莓汁）and honey on his big mouth, and mud on his chest（胸膛）. 

"Oh, look at this, "said Rabbit. "A dirty bear! What a mess you've made of yourself! Don't you take care of your fur? You should wash. 

Then your fur would be as nice as mine. "

"Yes, "said Bear. "Your fur is quite nice. How do you make it so perfect and white?" "I wash and brush it every day!" the rabbit said. "Of course, I was born beautiful, but I work hard to make my fur even nicer. No animal has fur as nice as mine. "

"That's right, "said Bear. "Is it easy to clean?"
