Why do people keep fish?

People keep dogs and cats because they enjoy their friendship. Fish cannot be friendly but they have beautiful shapes and colors. They are a pleasure to watch as they swim in their tanks.

It's nine o'clock at night. What are you doing? Watching TV, doing your homework, or chatting on your mobile phone? It is important for students to get a good asleep every night. If you don't sleep well at night, you cannot do your work well at school the next day. We all know that the best number of

sleeping hours for students is eight. But most students don't get enough sleep. That is bad for their schoolwork.

I read an interesting articlein a newspaper. It says young students are facing a new problem.

They may go to bed early, but a lot of them wakeup(醒来)in the middle of the night. They wake up not because of using the bathroom. They wake up because they are afraid of missing out（错过）！The article says schoolchildren wake up during the night tolook at their mobile phones. They are afraid that they maymiss something important on the mobile phone. They wake up at all times the night and go online.

I'd like to ask you to turn off your mobile phones at night. And you won't miss anything important.

Lots of people have sleep problems. They can't fall  asleep quickly, and always wake up many times at night. There is some useful advice.

Go to bed early every night. Don't breakthis habit even when you  want to watch soccer games on weekends. If you always stay up late, some time later，you will find it's hard to fall asleep.

Don't play computer games, watch TV or play with your mobile phone  over half an hour before going to sleep. That can make you excited and hard to sleep, so just read a book or listen to light music. It can make you  relaxed，and then go to sleep easily.

A good bedroom helps you sleep well. Make sure you turn off all the  lightand keepthe right temperature(温度)in your bedroom before going to sleep.

Sport can help you go to sleep easily， so just take a walk for about 45  minutes every day afterdinner，and then you will sleep well at night. But  youshould remembernottodoany violent(剧烈的)exercise before going  tosleep.

The best time for dinner is around 6 p. m. That can make sure there isa4-hour interval（间隔）between dinner and bedtime. And you'd better not eat too much for dinner. Just follow these rules.

These days, it's popular for Chinese students to take the bus to school.
