But games, computers and TVs around home bother kids a lot. So the homework club is just for them to do their homework. The club is quiet and it's good for students to study. Some teachers are there, too. They can answer students' questions and help with their homework.
After the students finish their homework, they can go home. Then they can play games or watch TV happily.
Christmas Day is coming up. In the morning Molly's mother takes her to a store in a car. She says to Molly, "Father Christmas always helps people but he never lets them know that. I will give you twenty dollars. Take the money and buy some things for others. After that, see me in the car."
Molly thinks of lots of people she knows: her family, her teachers and her classmates. She thinks of Bill. Bill sits next to her in the classroom. His home is far from school. It's about eight kilometers from his home to school. This boy doesn't have money to take the bus. He doesn't have a bike, either. Every day it takes Bill a long time to walk to school. His shoes are always old and dirty (脏的). Molly sees holes (洞) in them. Molly buys a pair of shoes for Bill with the money.
In the evening, Molly rides her bike to the post office (邮局) and sends the shoes to Bill. She also writes a note. It says: "To Bill. From Father Christmas."
I'm Bob and I'm a student of NO.2 Middle School. We have many rules in our school. I think some of them are good for us, but others are not so good.
We have to wear our school uniforms. I think it's good. If we don't have this rule, some students will wear expensive clothes. They will think more about their clothes, but not study. We can't be late for school and we have to listen to the teacher in class. All of these rules are good for our study and I like them.
We can't take mobile phones (手机) to school. I don't think it's a good idea. Sometimes our parents are busy and can't get home early. They need to tell us about that. If we can't take phones, how can they tell us? Also, we can't go to the movies on weekends. I know we should study hard, but we need some time to relax, too.

I know China's Teachers' Day is coming up on September 10th. Are you ready for that? Hopefully you've got a plan to show your love and respect(尊敬) to your teachers. In the US we celebrate(庆祝) Teachers' Day during the first week of May.
Let me tell you what we do on this day. . Many kids make gifts by themselves, such as cards or pictures. I used to(曾经) bring delicious fruit to my favorite teachers. Later as I got older, I would do bigger things for them, such as inviting(邀请) them over for dinner.
The stores in our country have special sales for teachers on this day. Some restaurants provide（提供）free meals for teachers . It's a nice way to pay them back for all their hard work.
