We have been in Australia for three days. We're having a good time here. Australia is the sixth largest country in the 1. Sydney is a beautiful city. There are many big trees and beautiful flowers around the houses and they 2 really beautiful. There are also some special animals in Australia, such as kangaroos and koalas. They are really lovely.
During the past three days we've visited many places of 3 around Sydney. I'd like to spend more time here, so we will fly to 4 city, Cairns, to see coral reefs (珊瑚礁) tomorrow. It is said that words cannot describe the beauty of the colourful corals. Many famous cartoon films were made there.
Now we are 5 packing our bags so that we will not lose time when we leave. We can enjoy ourselves in Cairns this time tomorrow. I'm looking forward to going there!

I am so excited to know that you will come to China and can stay with me in Xuzhou for two weeks. I will be free in February and will have a lot of time to show you around our beautiful city. During your stay here, we can go to Xuzhou Museum, walk around Yunlong Lake, climb up to the top of Yunlong Hill and see beautiful Xuzhou. There is also a lot of nice food to eat in Xuzhou. I'm sure you'll have a very good time here.
I am only in China for a short time. Chinese people are very friendly, just like people at home in Canada. I can speak a little Chinese, but I can't write it. I'm trying to study and speak it. I often try to speak Chinese to my Chinese friends. Sometimes they don't understand me, because I can't speak Chinese well.
I go out this morning. I am on my way to the hospital. I want to see my friend Eric there. But I don't know how to get there. I ask a Chinese boy. The boy can't understand me. Then I take out a pen and some paper. I draw a man in bed on it, give the picture to the boy and say something about it. The boy smiles and then shows me the way to the hospital. So I see my friend at last.

On July 18th, 2019, Mike and his parents went to Qingdao, a city in Shandong for the summer vacation. Qingdao is a beautiful city by the sea.
It was about 12:00 when they arrived there on the first day. They found a hotel and had a short rest. It was really hot and they decided to go to the beach. At about 3:30 p. m., they got to the beach. There were many people there. Some were lying on the beach and many children were playing in the water. Mike went to play with them and he was very
happy. His parents also felt relaxed. About two hours later, they went back to the hotel.
On July 19th, it rained all day. Mike visited the history museum with his father, and his mother went shopping.
On July 20th, they went to Mount Lao in the morning and took a bus home in the afternoon. They were tired but happy.
On my recent trip to Sydney with my parents, we visited the Wildlife Park.
The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals and birds. Some are native (当地的) to Australia and can only be found there. There are over 600 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles (鳄鱼). They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo where most of the animals are in cages.
We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We were allowed to touch and feed them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there too. They looked very cuddly (令人想拥抱的). Although we were not allowed to carry them, I got to take a photo with one. It is a wonderful souvenir (纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.
The Wildlife Park has plenty of freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are really big and scary (吓人的) with huge teeth! I did not want to get too close to them.
There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species (种类) they had. I saw an old parrot which could "talk". It made a great impression on me.
I enjoyed the trip very much. There was so much to see.
