The man replied, "I agree with you. This l must be a sign from God." The woman continued, "Oh, look at this! Here's not her magic thing. My car was broken, but this bottle of wine (酒) didn't break: Surely God wants us to drink it to celebrate our good luck."
Then she handed the bottle to the man. He opened the bottle, took a few drinks, and then handed it back to the woman. The woman took the bottle and quickly put it away. The man asked, "Aren't you having any?" The woman replied, "Yes, but not until the police finish looking into (调查) the accident."

Having a yard sale is not easy. You have to collect things, put prices on them, put them out on tables and then wait for people to come. And usually you have to sell1things at VERY low prices. For all that time and work, you make very little money. Why not just sell your things online for higher prices?

Everyone has different ways of letting their kids do housework. Here are some useful ideas.
Start young. Of course, when your kids are babies, your main job is to talk to them. But at the same time,
letting them see you at work might help especially if your kids are toddlers (学步儿童).
You can give them some easy housework to do such as washing vegetables and taking out the rubbish. And when they do a good job, you can reward them with some candies or ice-cream.
Do the housework together. Let them help you while you're folding clothes. They can pass you the clothes. And maybe they can fold one or two of them. When you get back home from shopping, they can help you to put away your things.
Remember when you ask your children to help, you should make them feel as if they're doing a great thing by praising (表扬) them. You can say something like" What a strong boy you are!" or "You are so helpful." It will make them feel happy. And they'll be ready to help you next time.
People often say that the doorway is the safest place in a house during an earthquake(地震). Is that true?
According to the scientists, the doorway isn't stronger than the rest of the house. And if you're in a public place, it will not protect (保护) you, but get you in danger.
So what is the safest place in a house?
If you're inside, you'd better stay under a desk or table. Standing against the wall is safer than standing in the doorway. Kneeling (屈膝) or lying on the ground is also safer than standing. It is important for you to stay away from glass, because things made of glass are easy to fall and break during an earthquake. So you'd better find something like a pillow (枕头) to cover your head and face.
