If you could travel back in time and meet your mom before she had you, what would you do? This question is the idea behind Hi, Mom, one of themovies in China during the Spring Festival in 2021. The comedian Jia Ling the play and directed it. She also played the role of Jia Xiaoling it.
Li Huanying is the name of Jia Ling's mother, who passed away Jia was just 19 years old. Jia Ling made the movie not because she wanted to be a director, but because she wanted to tell her mother's . "If people want to call up their mothers after seeing the film, I am happy," she said.
Xie Renci is a sunshine girl who worked pretty hard and entered a key university in Chongqing. Her 1has encouraged millions of people in China.
Xie grew up in a poor family in Guihzou province. A traffic accident 2Xie'slife when she was only four years old. The mother was so 3 that she almost gave up the hope of life. "I'll study really hard and go to Harvard. I'm sure tomorrow will be better," Xie encouraged her mom.
"I'm not-trying to present myself as a role model. All I'm doing is4people that, disabled or not, there is always another way of living your life. " says Xie.
Xie 5 shares her stories and photos on a social network. She wants to draw people's attention to the disabled community. She also wants to make a documentary of herself to tell children that there is no difference between people with disabilities and others.

The UN's Environment Program (UNEP) found that the world wastes about 17% of all the food. That's about 1.03 billion tons of food a year, which is over 93 1 billion kilograms.
According to the study, food is wasted everywhere—at home, in restaurants and in stores. And most food waste—about 61%--comes from homes. 26% of the food waste comes from restaurants. And the remaining 13% is thrown away by stores.
You must think rich countries waste more food than poor countries. That is not true. In fact, some richer countries waste far less food than average (平均水平).
People in rich countries waste less food at home because they often eat out at restaurants. For example, the US has low waste numbers for homes, but very high numbers for restaurants.
The UNEP report says it's important for countries to study food waste more carefully in order to find out ways to solve the problem. "If food waste ends up in landfills(垃圾填埋场) , it does not feed people, but feeds climate change. Food is too important to waste, so we should do something now quickly," says Martina Otto with a smile, the leader of the UNEP.
Courtney Carver lives in Utah, the United States. In 2010, she felt-really tired. "I worked too hard. I spent too much. And I slept too little." she wrote on her website. "I always wanted more because I thought I would be happy with more. I spent much of my life feeling worried and unhealthy. "She began to live more simply. She sold many of her things and she gave away other things. She became a minimalist (极简主义者). She said she gave away other things. She became a minimalist (极简主义者). She said she had never felt better. It teaches people how to live a better life with fewer things.
Minimalism is the idea that people are happier living with fewer things. It helps people get away from the things they do not need, so that they can think carefully about what is important. "This art was invented for decoration from the very beginning," said Fang. "Before doing it, you have to learn how to draw well. Without good drawing skills, you can't make good paper cuttings. "
Paper cutting also has new development. Li Baofeng is a 55-year-old artist. "Traditional paper cuttings are often made with red paper. It seems to be a little boring. So I want to make something new," says Li. She has made works in different colors.
