If you often have a cold, headache or backache, there is something wrong with your health. Eating healthy food1good for our health. Tofu (豆腐), milk, vegetables are healthy for us. Tofu is a kind of common2food. We often3it in China. Now more and more people.4other countries think tofu is good for health,5.They also like eating it. Milk is6kind of healthy food. Every day you should7one or two glasses of milk. It can keep us8.Vegetables are very important. You should eat9them, they are nutritious(有营养的). As we know, it's important to keep a balanced diet (均衡饮食).We must have the right kinds of food. We should also eat some pork, chicken10beef. We should eat more fruit and vegetables but less meat.
At the age of four, our kids began to help us with the housework. They helped 1their pets and clean the house. Now Tate can make her bed,2her clothes and set(布置) the table. Last week, she even helped me3.We were happy because it was delicious. I like getting kids to start early for a few4. First, it is fun for kids to help. Kids like to work5the same things as their parents do. They want to stay with their parents but to do things by themselves. It's a good time to6them to help you when you are busy. Second, it's never too7for them to learn some things.8, having kids do chores is not robbing(剥夺)their playing time.9make(s) them know the joy of working.10, it does help. I feel that Tare likes doing chores and she helps me a lot.
Most children don't enjoy doing chores. They like playing computer games rather than cleaning the rooms. But in Australia, Jim and Robert's mother, Mrs. Black, has good and proper methods to get their children to do housework.
Here is an example.
"Morn, have you worked out next week's chores? Let Jim and me choose the cards. I can't wait. It's fun!"
When Robert shouted out, his mother had already put all the cards on their big table. On the cards, there are some words like these, "sweep the floor, clean your bedroom, help morn cook, wash vegetables, make beds, feed the fish, cut the wood, clean the bathroom" and many others, Jim and Robert chose two cards for each day from Monday to Friday. Then they would hang them on the weekday task board. Jim likes to clean the bathroom, so he picked up the card "clean the bathroom". Robert loves to make the bed so he picked up his favorite card. Jim again picked up "wash vegetables" and Robert chose "feed the fish". Soon the two boys were happy to take away all the cards.
To help the children do chores, their mother figure out this idea. Of course, the parents did the chores at weekends and left Jim and Robert two days free.
Everybody will have some health problems. Here are Mr. Black's problems and his doctor's advice. I hope they can help you.
Mr. Black's problems.
My name is David Black. I live in a small house. I never go out when the weather is cold or hot, because I am worried I'll have a cold. I don't go out often because I don't want to talk with others. I hardly exercise, but sometimes I take a walk in my garden. After I walk for a few minutes, I have to take a rest. I am always very weak and tired. I often have a headache but I don't want to see a doctor. What should I do?
Dr. Smith's advice
Traditional Chinese doctors believe we need a balance of yin and yang to be healthy. I think you have too much yin because you are always worried about something and you don't like going out or talking with others. I think you should eat some yang foods, like beef and you need to exercise more. Also, talking with others can make you feel relaxed. And if you don't feel very well, it's important for you to go to see a doctor. And you will feel better after you take some Chinese medicine.

Every year thousands of children are hurt or die in the traffic accidents (交通事故). So it's necessary to them some knowledge about traffic safety. Knowing the traffic signals (信号) and signs is important. When the signal is red, it means "stop". When the signal is , it means "look" and when it's green, it means "go". Look at both sides you cross the road. Make sure that you look at sides and no cars are coming near you. It's better to walk on a sidewalk. If there is no sidewalk (人行道), you must walk on the side so that you can see the cars coming towards you. I know how and fun it is to put your hand or head out from a moving car. But this can cause accidents and your body. So you mustn't it. Also make sure you enter the bus and get off the bus when it stops completely. You should never play in a moving bus as it can hurt you. These can keep you safe. You must remember them.
Mrs. Read is an American housewife. Now she is talking about her children: five-year-old daughter, Ella, has to clean up her toys and her bedroom. And she needs to help do the dishes and help clean the table after supper. She also helps Daddy look after our pet; she can get water and food for the dog, for example. She told me she wanted to mop (用拖把拖) the floor, but I'm not ready to get her to do it. If she is good and does all that she needs to do for the week, she gets 5 dollars and a movie.
My three-year-old daughter, Anna, has to clean up her toys, her bedroom, and any mess(混乱) that she makes. If she is good and does what she needs to do for the week, she gets 3 dollars and a movie.
My tow-year-old son, Steve, doesn't do chores yet. He will not be so "lucky" next year. I am going to teach him to do some housework from now on.
Do you often do chores at home? And cat you get money if you do any chores? What's your opinion(看法) about it? Maybe you can tell me by calling me at 88510078.
