Most people have computers at home. Some of them are big, but some of them are very small. Computers are very useful. People like playing on the computer. They have a lot of functions(功能), so people can do a lot of things by computer. There are two computers in my home. One is in the study and the other is my parents' bedroom. Every day, I use the computer to do my homework or play games. My father likes watching news and my mother does online shopping a lot. It can make our lives very colorful and convenient(便利的). Many people can make good use of computer, but some young people can't use computers properly. They play games on it, too much. It's bad for their eyes. Computers are our good friends. All of us should use them in a right way.
Do you know what a house-warming party is? After people move into a new house, they often have a party to show their family and friends the new home. Their family and friends usually bring a lot of presents to the party. These presents are usually for the new house. They can be big things like a lamp(灯) or a chair. They can be small things like a house plant, a box of chocolate or a coffee cup. If people need them in their new houses, they are quite good presents.
What do my parents usually like to buy for a house-warming party? They buy small things that everyone needs: bath towels(浴巾). One can never have enough baths, is that right? For young people, Mom buys colorful bath towels. For people with children, Mom buys lovely towels that children can wear. They are so easy to use that kids love them. For old people, Mom buys white ones. With no little kids around, these people can keep white towels clean for a long time.

Mr. Snow is eighty years old. He works five days a week. Every day, he works from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning and 2:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon.
He's old and he's not tall. He's always smiling. Sometimes he talks to us and wishes us a great day in school. I'm happy to see Mr. Snow every day He make me feel warm and safe.
