My daughter saw a colorful rainbow the other day after a thunderstorm. She called me to look out of the window and1it as well. Looking at it, I was amazed at its beauty and I also2the first time I ever saw a rainbow as a boy.
Once when I was a little boy, I was sitting in the house for an hour waiting3 for the rain to stop so I could go out and play. It had rained hard for long and I thought it would never4When it finally stopped, I5 outside and was attracted by the beautiful sight of the rainbow across the sky. I had just recently heard of an old story. It is said that there was a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.6I started to run down the streets near my house to find that treasure. By the time I got there, the rainbow and its pot of gold had gone 10.

More and more people like bicycling and it is no surprise. It is fun, healthy and good for the environment. Maybe that's why there are I.4 billion bicycles and only 400 million cars on road worldwide today. Bikes can take you almost anywhere, and there is no oil cost!
Get on a bicycle and ride around your neighborhood. You may discover something new all around you. Stopping and getting off a bike is easier than stopping and getting out of your car. You can bike to work and benefit (受益) from the enjoyable exercise without polluting the environment. You don't even have to ride all the way.
Folding (折叠) bikes work well for people who ride the train. Just fold the bike and take it with you. You can do the same on an airplane. A folding bike can be packed in a suitcase. You can also take a common bike with you when you fly. But be sure to look for information by getting on airline websites. Not all airlines are bicycle friendly to travelers,

The World Tourism Organization says that space will soon become a popular place to go on holiday- possibly by 2020. One Japanese company is planning a space holiday center. It will look like a bicycle wheel and have a very modern hotel for 100 people and a park. It will travel around the earth at a height of 300km. The company hopes the center will be ready soon. The company manager says he thinks that flying to the center will probably be quicker than flying from Hong Kong to Singapore. After they arrive at the center tourists can take trips to the moon or go for walks in space. What about the cost? Well, the company believes that people will be happy to pay about $ 100,000 for a trip. But they think that as more people want to go, the trip will become much cheaper.
An American company is also thinking of building a very modern hotel, called the Lunar Hotel, on the moon. Most of the hotel will be under the ground, so it won't become too hot or too cold. The rooms will look just like they do on the earth. The guests will eat normal food for lunch. The cooks will just push a button (按钮) to mix dried food with water to make a meal!
There will be little or no dirt and there won't be much water. So the hotel won't wash the towels or sheets(床单) they will be thrown away.

Dear Mum and Dad, How are you doing? I've been busy since I came to China. Guess what? I'm learning Chinese and I really enjoy it! Three weeks ago, I had a Chinese festival— Mid-Autumn festival in Changchun. It's on 15th of the lunar calendar, It's one of the most important festivals in China. All the family members together for a big dinner that day. On that day the Chinese people eat a kind of special food- mooncakes. A mooncake is a delicious, round cake. It looks the moon. At night families often stay in the open air near their houses. There they eat the mooncakes watching the moon. They believe the full moon is the symbol of reunion. I have to stop here.
