Mr. Miller is very busy on weekdays. He wants to have much fun on weekends. 

On Saturday，Mr. Miller gets up at 9 o'clock in the morning. Then，he likes going shopping with Mrs. Miller. They buy lots of food. They like vegetables and fruit. Mr. Miller likes bananas and Mrs. Miller likes oranges. Their son and daughter don't like shopping. The children go to their grandparents' house. 

On Saturday evening，Mr. Miller likes reading books. He also likes watching TV with his family. If the weather（天气） is nice after dinner，he often walks in the park with his children. They often have some ice﹣cream there. 

On Sunday morning，Mr. Miller likes playing soccer with his friends. After that， they have a big lunch. On Sunday evening，he likes calling his brother on the phone，and he often goes to bed early. 

Dai Guangtan，a Frenchman（法国人），lives in Shanghai. He is good at cooking and has a great love for Chinese food. He often cooks Chinese food and shares（分享） it with all the world （全世界）. 

Many people know Dai because of his videos（视频） of cooking Chinese food. They get many likes（关注）. In the videos，he makes Chinese food，like jianbing，baozi and hundun. After watching the videos，many Chinese people think he cooks well. People in other parts of the world also say they like the videos and want to try some Chinese food one day. 

"From them，I often get a lot of questions about how to make Chinese food. I think it is good to know about the culture（文化） behind the food，"Dai says. "When you cook Beijing luzhu，you can make it look nice and taste good when you know about its culture. "

Dai often travels（旅行） in China to find new tastes in food. He shares his travels in his videos. He wants people all over the world to know about and love Chinese food and its culture after watching his videos. 

I'm Raj from India（印度） and I come to America to study in a middle school. Today is my first day at school. And I walk to my school. 

I am a little afraid because I don't know anybody in the new school. I am also confused（困惑的） because I don't know where to take lessons. In India，the teacher comes to the classroom and the students wait for him or her. But here，the students go to different classrooms. For my first class，I walk into the classroom and ask the teacher，"Is this the right place?"he answers，"Yes. "His voice makes me feel a little better. He asks me to sit where I want. But in India，the teacher tells me where to sit. 

At noon，I go to the cafeteria（自助餐厅） for lunch. I feel happy because we don't have it in India. At 3：30 p. m. ，all the students can go home. I am surprised（惊讶） because we have long school days in India—7：00 a. m. to 5：30 p. m. I take the bus to go home. On the bus，I think，"Today is not bad. "

What do you like to do when you have time?Li Han likes to play sports. He is a boy from Beijing.  The boy plays sports every day. 

Li Han likes sports because of his father，Li Qiang. When he finds his son doesn't play any sports after school，he takes him to go out and play sports every day. 

Li Han goes to sleep early at about 8 o'clock，so he can get up very early. They usually play sports for about one hour in the morning. In the afternoon，Li Han goes home early. 

Now Li Han loves sports very much and he is good at many of them，like swimming.

How are you?Do you play video games（电子游戏）?What do you think of them?Some of my English friends think they are boring，so theyplay them. But some love playing them. Sometimes，they play video games even（甚至） at late night. Of course，then they can't get up early the next morning. Sometimes they takephones to school and play video in class. Sometimes，they finish their homework，so they can have more timevideo games. But I don't think playing video games for a long time is.
