The Chinese New Year is an important festival in . It is in or February. Before it, we usually buy some beautiful flowers.
We our houses. Then we like to cook a dinner on the night before the Chinese new year. We are during the Chinese New Year, especially(特别) the children. Because they can get a lot of red from their parents.
In China, there are many different kinds of food. The most famous (著名) Chinese food is dumplings. Chinese people usually call them jiaozi". People in China like "jiaozi", especially in the North (北方) of China. They usually make "jiaozi" to celebrate (庆祝) festivals or some nice days. And when they have something good, they make dumplings to celebrate it, too. They like to eat "jiaozi" with vinegar (醋). People make many kinds of dumplings in China.
They put different things in the dumplings. Some are meat and vegetables. Some are fish and vegetables. They are all tasty (美味的).
Usually people make dumplings at home, but you can also buy them in the supermarket. The people from other countries like the Chinese food very much, especially the "jiaozi".
