Can you often see an English man in our school? His name is David, a 1 teacher of Shimen Experimental School. He comes to China because of our school soccer team. He says Shijiazhuang is a good place. He loves the nice people in Shijiazhuang. And he likes the food here, 2 .
Look! He is playing soccer with the students. Here 3 26 students in his class. His class 4 at 5:00 p.m. After that, he will have 5 in the teachers' dinning hall(食堂). Mr. David is great 6 , and all the teachers and students in the school like him very much. They also call 7 "Mr. Fun".
On December 23rd, the students of Grade 7 have a school sale. He likes it and sells a nice soccer ball 8 10 dollars. Also, he 9 some fun things for his son. He really likes the busy 10 interesting life(生活) in Shijiazhuang. He believes many great soccer players will come from Shimen Experimental School in the future.
Ann likes to draw(画画). She wants to draw a model plane. Ann looks into(向里看) her pencil box. "Oh, my pencil isn't in the pencil box," says Ann. Ann looks into her schoolbag. The pencil isn't there. "Mom, I can't find my pencil. Where is it? I want to draw pictures," says Ann. "Is it on your desk?" asks Mom. "No, it isn't." "Is it under the chair?" "No, it isn't." Mom comes to her room. She looks at Ann and says, "Look in the mirror." "What? My pencil is in the mirror?" asks Ann. She looks in the mirror. Haha... Her pencil is on her head.

I will be ten years old on Friday, 22nd July. To celebrate my birthday, I will invite several friends and I hope that all of you will be able to come to the party on that day.
There will be two parts in my party. The first part will be at the swimming pool near our school. Please bring your swimsuit (游泳衣) and a change of clothes. We have planned some pool games. My parents will be at the pool to protect the swimmers. The pool party will be from 2 to 3 p.m.
The second part of the party will be at my house. A bus will take us all from the pool to my house. A singer is coming to my house. He will sing popular songs for us. I am sure you will enjoy them. The home party may last till 5 p.m.
Please let me know by Friday, 15th July, whether you will come to my party, so that I will know how much food to prepare.
