Last year Jack left school. He came to Taibei to1a job. He went from one company to another, but 2. wanted him. Now he had little money. He had to go back to his small town. So he came to the station. He felt 3 and tired. It was very late at night and 4 was full of people. They were waiting 5 the tickets of the last train. He bought the last ticket and he was very happy.
At that time, a woman with a crying baby walked to him. She asked him to sell her the ticket. He gave her the ticket. He thought they needed it 6 he did. After 7 left, he sat on the bench(长凳) and didn't know 8 to go. Just then, and old man came and said," Young man, I saw happened just now. I have a big company. I need a good young man like9. Would you like to work10 me?"
What do you think about your childhood(童年)? I rode my bike around the park every day and I felt happy.
Today, kids don't spend enough time in the fresh air. Many of them are sitting before a computer or a TV.
But now many scientists in the UK want kids not to watch TV or play computer games but play outside, instead.
I think it's a good idea. Having some wild(无拘无来的) time helps kids to learn and keep healthy too. There is so many to do out of their homes that I don't think 30 minutes a day is enough. Activities like catching butterflies, climbing trees and flying kites are just some of the things kids like to do. If they live in a city, they can go to the garden or the park.
But I know that kids often need a helping hand from Mum and Dad. They need to learn what to do and where to go.
Bella was eating breakfast with her dad. "These eggs are salty!" she said "They are making me thirsty."
Bella picked up her dad's coffee by mistake(错误). "Yuck(令人反感的)! This tastes so..." Bella could not find a word for the taste of coffee.
"Bitter!" laughed Dad.
"Yes, bitter," said Bella.
"Try some lemonade(柠檬汽水) instead," said Dad. He handed Bella a glass of lemonade. Bella made a funny face.
"It is too sour!" cried Bella. Dad added a little sugar(糖),
"Use your sense(感觉) of taste to tell me how it is now," said Dad.
"Now it is sweet," said Bella. "I love it!"
