Last year, we had an English teacher from the USA．We called him Mr Black. He often told us that English is very useful. He taught us very well. He was strict (严格的) with all of us. In class, he always gave us much time to speak English. At first, I could hardly (几乎不) understand any words and I could not talk in English at all. But soon I found English was not so difficult and I could talk to my classmates in English. So I began to like it. This year we have a new teacher, Mrs Green. She also teaches us very carefully.
Last summer holiday I went to Qingdao with my parents. Qingdao is far from my home, so we went there by plane. It is a big and beautiful city. It was hot and sunny. We stayed in Qingdao for three days. We went to the beach and swam in the sea. We took lots of pictures and ate delicious seafood. On the last day, I bought gifts for my friends in the shop. It was a tiring but happy holiday.
Last weekend, I was very busy. On Saturday morning, I got up early and cleaned my room. Then I did my homework. After lunch, I went shopping with my mum. In the evening, I watched TV and went to bed early. On Sunday morning,I played basketball with friends at the gym. In the afternoon, I stayed at home and read a book. After dinner, I saw a film with my parents in the cinema. I went to bed at 10 o'clock. It was a busy but nice weekend.
Sarah is my good friend. She is a pretty girl. She is short and thin. She has long hair and big eyes. Yesterday was Sunday. Sarah went to the farmers' market with her mum in the morning. It was hot and sunny. She had a green dress and a blue hat. The market was near their house, so they went there on foot. In the market they bought some sweet grapes and apples. They were sixty-eight yuan. They also bought some fresh potatoes and green beans. They were twenty-two yuan. They went home at ten o'clock.
